It’s been 5 years since the keys changed hands at the Pub. They say the first five years are the hardest; but since we haven't burnt the place down yet, we figure we’re doing alright. We’re throwing a 5-Year Bash to say thank you for every pint, every plate, and celebrate the wonderful community of folks that have made the Pub what it is today.
Whether you’ve been a regular since day one or you haven't stopped in yet, come help us celebrate half a decade of good times and great beer.
Music: The Krishna Guthrie Band takes the stage from 7–10 PM.
Drinks: We’re pouring $4 drafts ALL NIGHT long.
The Big Prize: We’re rewarding our most loyal crowd. After our month-long contest, we’ll be drawing one lucky current Mug Club Member to win a Lifetime Membership!
No Reservations: Just come on by, grab a stool, and stay a while.
We’re still sorting out a few more details and prizes, so stay tuned to this page for updates.
5 years down. Many more to go. No joke. See you at the Pub April 1st!
The Guthrie family story is interwoven into the fabric of American music. While Krishna Guthrie incorporates elements of his lineage, from the folk roots of his great-grandfather, Woody to the masterful storytelling of his grandfather Arlo, Krishna turns it up a notch, infusing rock, blues and modern influences as he carves his own initials in the family tree. The Krishna Guthrie Band is a collection of like-minded individuals, each with influences of their own, who value what music offers to the world and strive to make each show better than the last. They blend their varied musical experiences together to create a musical tapestry on which Krishna weaves his stories.

Breanna Elaine is a full time musician, singer/songwriter based out of Vermont. Breanna’s music is dripping with plenty of earthy folk, indie, singer/songwriter sounds, but the term “folk music” does not fully encapsulate the work of this blooming musician. Her debut album, “Seedlings" was released January 1st, 2023. She performs a mix of originals as well as a wide array of covers on both guitar and banjo. Breanna is recognized around Vermont and surrounding areas for her unique sound and songwriting talent. With over 100 original songs that have still yet to be recorded, this is just the beginning for Breanna Elaine, a true star on the rise. “Generally classified on music sites as folk/rock, as the evening went on, it was clear she transcends definition. She’s been compared to Jewel (though Breanna’s covers of Jewel are in many ways superior to the originals), Alanis Morissette, and Janis Ian. Tack on an early Fiona Apple song and it’s easy to understand just how diversely her talent runs.” -Susan Johnson of the Brandon reporter

Indie-bluegrass trio Eugene Tyler Band is a road band, cutting their teeth on the bluegrass festival circuit and clubs across the northeast. Sharing stages with bands like Mountain Grass Unit, Sicard Hollow, The Kitchen Dwellers, and Michigan Rattlers, they've carved out a unique voice in the bluegrass scene, with sharp songwriting and high-energy performances. Blending indie spirit with bluegrass grit, their live shows strike a balance between tight musicianship and loose, conversational banter. Called “a trio that punches above its weight”, ETB is back on the road this spring, bringing their charismatic brand of new acoustic music to audiences around the country.
Eugene Gardner (vocals/guitar/mandolin/tenor guitar), Danny Tyler (banjo/guitar) and Marc Jaffee (upright bass/vocals) all grew up within a few miles of each other in New York’s Hudson Valley, where they are currently based.

Marcos has been playing music for as long as he can remember, but things really took off when he moved to Vermont 32 years ago. He first dove into the traditional music scene, co-founding Cold River Band and playing fiddle tunes and dances. He later joined the Irish band Extra Stout as a vocalist/guitarist. Marcos was part of the forming of George’s Back Pocket, and he enjoys his latest project playing with The Plumb Bobs. Marcos plays a wide range of music, including his own original tunes. His passion for music shines through in every performance—he’s a joy to listen to.
Like a lot of kids, Mike Schwaner picked up the guitar in high school. He never gave up on it, and was gigging by college. For 35 years, he has been playing out. He has been in numerous bands that span genres from funk, to punk, rock, metal, and some country. Acoustic solo performance is the latest chapter in his musical career. As a lead guitarist, he likes the freedom to loop classic riffs and run scales and licks over the top.
